Based on the findings, we design and propose the most suitable material for the intended application. THE ART OF ENGINEERING THE “PERFECT” STEEL
Lucchini RS has a dedicated team of metallurgists and engineers that designs and develops advanced steel grades, continuously upgrading their current properties. We begin by identifying the objectives that the material must fulfill, and then we work on designing a material that meets those objectives.
CASTLOS®
Castlos® family grades have been specifically developed for roll casters used in aluminium production processes. The result is a material that is highly resistant to Thermal Fatigue Cracks and can withstand even the most demanding operating conditions, delivering reliable and long-lasting performance. This is achieved through a combination of a well-balanced chemistry and an advanced production process that yield a pure, isotropic, and uniform steel grade.
