DESIGNED TO OFFER A SUITABLE SOLUTION FOR BOTH APPLICATIONS HIGH-END PLASTIC MOULDING AND HOT WORK DIE CASTING
GENERAL CHARATERISTICS
LUCCHINI H11 ESR has been designed to offer a suitable solution for both applications high-end plastic moulding and hot work die casting. Thanks to the manufacturing process and the ESR re-melting, steel has a high homogeneity and purity (P<0.0015%, S<0.003% and low secondary elements content), that makes it suitable for the most demanding polishing moulds. LUCCHINI H11 ESR steel grade can be successfully used for the manufacture of optical lenses and cars’ lights tools with long run campaigns. LUCCHINI H11 ESR can also be used for High Pressure Die Casting of light alloys (Aluminum and Magnesium), meeting the annealed steel capability required by NADCA #207 standard.
